The countdown continues as we march toward the South Side baseball team’s first game of the season. Opening day is March 4 when the Hawks play host to USJ. Between now and then, Hawk TV is counting down the days based on jersey numbers.

WYATT DIFFEE is a junior and wears No. 40, the third highest numbered jersey on the 2024 roster. He pitches and plays first and third bases. His favorite movie is “Major League” and the Cardinals are his favorite sports team. His advice to younger players is “Don’t ever give up.
