This website is operated by South Side High School’s media production classes under the direction of media teacher Brad Gaskins. Launched in August 2021 as an athletics-only website, Hawknation.net expanded this school year to include academics. We produce timely news stories and engaging features covering all things South Side. We adhere to strict journalistic standards in using this platform to promote our school, students, staff and South Jackson community.
